Cabin Fever -Mom from Wheeling Seeking Other Moms for Playgroup or Other

I was wondering if there are any groups in the area or moms that might be interested in starting one. For now I am a stay at home mom so my schedule is pretty open. No commitment - just occasional company for my kids ... and myself.

Have you been to meetup.com? tons of mom and tot groups on there. A group that has things for older kids is the Elk Grove Village Families

You didn't say where you live, but if you are the Lake Zurich area, Lakeside Moms and Tots is wonderful. If you are not close to that area, go to meetups.com. There are tons of playgroups that are very specific. Good luck and keep looking until you find something. Mommy support is VERY important!
S., who still has a playgroup for mommies after "graduating" from her playgroup, because her kids are in school full time. =)

Hi L.. :) There is a website called Meetup.com where people can meet other people with similar interests. I have found many people in my neighborhood to have playdates with using this site.
