I buy and sell on both.

They both have plus and minuses... craigslist, half the time the people don't ever even get back to you, at least on ebay they are bound to if you win the auction.

Or, you can always buy second hand at Kid to Kid or Once Upon a Child. Those places are a lot more picky and organzid than Goodwill. I get tons of clothes there.

I like ebay because I seem to find better deals also try thrift storts Thrifty town is a real good one I always find nice name brands there. Also I have a 14 month old baby girl that has outgrown tons of stuff let me know what size you are looking for and I could send you some pics.

Once upon a child is good, but still can be expensive, even goodwill and thrift centers can have great things at great prices. I've bought off of ebay and its been hit and miss on quality, but I figure you get what you pay for :)

Also try the www.thechildrensplace.com , they sometimes have great sales.

I am a HUGE ebayer, i have never had any problems, i have been using it for the last 6 or 7 years. I just recently looked at the craigslist and have only bought one thing (my son a bed). I have done alot of things on ebay though, sorry i havent bought any kids clothes, i have looked just never done it. They do usually have good prices on pretty good looking clothes, just be sure to read everything on there, (not sure if this applies to you or not) sometimes some people dont ship to po boxes or such. Also be sure to pay attention to the shipping and prices to see if it will be worth it or not. Good Luck, sometimes its fun and sometimes its fustrating (when you keep getting out bidded), but they also do automatic bidding for you so you dont have to sit there the whole time. Hope this helps you.

i have bought from both. i personally like craigslist best bc they are local and u can meet them and check the clothes or other items out befor eu buy. on ebay u just have to pray the items look the same as the pics and on top of that u have to pay shipping. so i think for overall quality and price craigslist is the best just bc of them being local and being able to check things out befor eu buy. hope this helps!!!

Hi L., I have bought several items on ebay and craigslist. I think craigslist is better in price since you won't have to be paying shipping/handling. Quality... it depends.

On ebay I recommend you read the full description on the item and look at the sellers' feedback. If they have had negative feedback, go through it and read why it is the buyer left a negative feedback.

When I buy from craigslist I always ask the seller if the clothes have any stains, tears, rips etc. I usually meet them in a public location. Go through the items before you pay, if you don't like what you see just let the seller know they're not as described and you won't be buying them after all.

Hope that helps!

I have done both. I bought a brand new breast pump off of e-bay but you have to watch out because they have high shipping charges. Craigslist is great because you can search local and usually people are just looking to get rid of their stuff and they will negotiate on price! Hope that helps...

I have purchased items on both ebay and craigslist. However, I find that it is easier to shop the resale shopes such as Once Upon A child for clothing unless you are looking for a particular item. Either one is about the same. Ebay you pay shipping and Craigslist .. you normally meet somewhere to exchange the item.

L., I love ebay for kids' clothes. For my search term, I type in the child's size, then "new lot." I only buy new clothes because "as good as new" is a matter of opinion! Once in a great while I'll buy something that is advertised as worn once or twice. Check out the pictures carefully. When you buy as a lot, your shipping charges get reasonable, and the price per item is less.

I have bought from eBay and been very pleased. Not sure where you are, but there is a great consignment store in Houston called Second Childhood - on Fountainview close to San Felipe. Their clothes sometimes still have the original tags still on them! Very good quality and if you wait for the sales, the prices are GREAT! Good luck!

I've sold stuff on craigslist several times. I never had people come to my house...that's a little creepy for both the buyer and seller, but I would meet somewhere public...mall, busy park, etc. Usually, I priced my stuff so that it was a pretty good deal and I plainly said "firm" in the ad. Know the price range of stuff you're looking at and you should be ok.

I usually find better deals on Ebay too (at least for newer looking clothes). I am also a little weary about going to a stranger's house to pick up things from Craigslist. It's amazing at how careful I am now that I have kids!!

I also have an Ebay store, so if you have any questions, ask away!

Yes. I have bought from eBay.
I also currently have some 12 - 24M boys clothes on eBay (name davisfamftworth).
For me, I only buy certain brands. I like New or New With Tags, from a smoke free home.
If I am interested, i watch till the day it ends, then bid... otherwise a bidding war can ensue and drive up the auction price (which is ok when you sell, but not when you buy... lol).
I have a favorite Vendor or two... and I buy from their sales (they have stores).
I can't tell you how much money I've saved with it.
The truth is, the things have to be what they say they are or you can return them.
GOOD LUCK!
