Building Outdoor Kitchen
We are interested in building an outdoor kitchen and a purgola and doing some upgrades in our backyard. Can anyone recommed a contractor for the North Dallas/Plano area? We thought we found someone until we looked on the Better Business Bureau site and saw that he had a rating of "F".

We used Water Frontiers, and we couldn't be happier. Our house is on the market right now, so you can see a picture of the backyard on our home website if you're interested in seeing their work (http://www.ebby.com/property/4251125/) We only did a grill and buffet in the kitchen because our yard is small, but they do amazing work if you want the whole deal. Their website is http://www.waterfrontiers.com/ and the owner's name is Steve. They were really reasonable and trustworthy and on top of things. I couldn't say enough about them.

Shannon Borders - Natural Stone Pools. They are the only people to call. The kitchens they do are breathtaking and the customer service is the best.

John Mabry did our backyard kitchen and patio -- it is a beautiful patio - the roof and cover is amazing -- the feel of a lodge -- it is so nice to sit outdoors and enjoy a nice cool drink and read a book, even in the summer! His number is ###-###-####, let him know I sent you! Good luck! You will love it and him!

I recommend RW&Blue Services. The owner, PJ Kratohvil, was a marine who returned to the area a few years ago. He is located out of Flower Mound, TX. He is competitively priced and most importantly, extremely dependable and honest. He runs a tight crew and makes sure things are done correctly and to your satisfaction. Good luck with your project.

Check out dfw fine homes group at dfhgroup.com - they won best architectural design last year at the Vesta Awards (home builders association) for an outdoor area they created last year.
