V.S.
if this was an issue happening with your kids, you wouldnt hesitate, so why second guess asking the dr something about yourself?
I know that some brown discharge after a period is normal. However, this seems to be different than what I normally get. It's lighter in color, like a tan instead of a brown. It's also been here for almost a week instead of a day or two. I have a doctors appointment tomorrow for an unrelated issue, but since I just scheduled the appointment today it's not with my normal doctor because she was booked.
Should I mention this to the doctor I am seeing tomorrow? I would be much more comfortable waiting to see my normal doctor, but I don't see her until the end of May for a pap smear and to receive the depo shot. However, if it's something that should be looked into promptly then I will mention it to this new doctor.

Anything from orange to tan to brown discharge is pretty common and is indicative of blood in the discharge.
This happens to me now that I have had kids. My uterus is really leaning to the left after being pregnant and I feel this might have something to do with it as well due to slowing down the lining discharging normally. You could mention your discharge to the doctor tomorrow and then when you go in for your pap with your normal doctor ask them too and ask if your uterus has any tilt to it and what the side effects of that are if any.
It could be an infection you should tell your Doctor at the appointment.
A Dr has Heard and seen it All !! I would ask the one your going to see ! Give you some peace of mind !!!!
