Brow Waxing Recommendations

I need a reccomendation on a person to wax my brows. I had a gal I really liked, only to call back to have her moved salon's with "no idea" where she went. I would appreciate any reccomendations on people in the South Overland Park/South Leawood/135th and Stateine area. I saw an article about a gal in the 435 south magazine..I misplaced the info, so if anyone knows who that was, I would appreciate that info too.

What can I do next?

So What Happened?™

Thanks Ladies for all the great responses! I will definitley be taking the advise and look into using one of these gals. I relly appreciate being able to access so many people so ealily.

Faruzia (fa-roo-za) at Par Exsalonce at College/Quivira works miracles! She is great and has taken my overplucked, bad shaped brows and created things that actually look good on my face! :) She is out of the country till after 4th of July but worth the wait! (but call soon to get an appt, she books quickly!)

I just had the best brow wax at Par Exsalonce Salon, ###-###-#### at College and Quivira in Overland Park. Amy did a great job, it was very relaxing and done in a private room. The wax she told me only sticks to the hair and not the skin...BIG difference! Usually I walk out of a waxing with red irritated skin. It cost $20 for the brow wax, more than what I usually pay, but I think it's so worth it. She shaped my brows beautifully and I look great! I highly recommend her!

Hi there! I read your inquirey and wanted to tell you about a gal that I recently started going to. Her name is Azi Vousoughian (Skin Perfection by Azi). She works out of Aspen Salon and Day Spa at 149th and Metcalf. I think she has advertised in the 435 South magazine, but I'm not sure if she's the one you saw. She does a very nice job. I have very sensitive skin that usually peels or breaks out after waxing. She treats it afterward and I haven't had that problem since I've been going to her. Her direct number is ###-###-####. She charges $15 for an eyebrow wax. It's a very private, relaxing atmosphere, and she can usually accomodate same day service. I've had facials with her also. She is awesome! You can see her picture and a little about her on Aspen's website as well. www.aspensalonandspa.net

Good luck!

The best brow waxer and endermologist I know is Ginnie Baker...she is awesome! Everyone I send to her, sends more women (and men). Very near you, too. Check out her website: www.ginniebaker.com

PS She does not charge an arm and a leg, either!

The girl in 435 south is Kendall at Astheticare.(sp?) I used to work with her and she did my brows and they were awesome. She did them better than anyone I have ever been to, and that has been a lot. Hope this is helpful.

I go to beauty brands and have had 3 different ladies as I tend to just do walk-ins when I have a few hours of time available in my schedule and usually get in within 30 min. So far I have liked all 3 of them but you can make an appointment with the one you like.
