YES! I use a great appliance repair person! In HOme Appliance Repair, Jim Swann. He is reasonable, punctual, respectful... can't say enough good stuff. I have used him for appliance repair for nearly every appliance we own. (different problem every time :-). Anyway, you can reach him at ###-###-#### or ###-###-####.
Please tell him B. Allen referred him and we will BOTH get a discount.
Good Luck,
B.

I have had lots of luck with Service Magic. Also we now have a home warrenty and it really pays for it self. They cover appliances, air conditioning, plumbing etc. It is through American Home Sheild. Good luck!

I don't have any recommendations on who to call. But wanted to let you know what happened with our oven one time. Our electricity went out and the next time we wanted to use the oven, everything was working but it would not heat. we were told to switch the breaker and see if that helped. We did that and the oven heated again. Not sure if this will help, but worth the shot since having a repair person come out can be expensive.

Try the heating coil at the bottom of the oven. You can order the parts for your oven online(they had express delivery too) and it's only two screws to get it out and two to get it back in. I think ours was around $50-60.

I like Hurst TV & Appliance on Pipeline. I took my coil in and they tested it before selling me a new one. Going to the store saves the $75 service call fee.

I fixed mine myself. all it needed was a thermostat. cost me around $100 and it works as good as new.
depending on the model/make...its a fairly easy fix.
good luck to you.
