Breast Pump...

I have one of those pump in style backpacks and I have only been pumping with it for 2 weeks since I have been back to work... But my milk flow is really bad and right now I am doing lots of different things to bring up my flow but if it doesnt come back up I am going to stop. So I was wondering if anyone was interested in buying it from me; its like Brand new!!

I already have a pump, but you may want to try to sell it on eBay.

Also, try taking the herb fenugreek. You can get it at Central Market/Whole Foods. My milk supply started to dwindle b/c I wasn't drinking enough water or eating enough. Try those things and the Fenugreek if you're really wanting to continue with the bfing. Good luck and congrats!

I'm due in November and my daughter will be 20 months when the new baby is born. I have the Medela version before they put it in a back pack and it's starting to quit on me and I don't think it's going to survive the next baby! What are you asking for it??

Hi L.,
I don't need a breast pump, but I wanted to let you know that I expereinced the same problem when I returned to work. The breastfeeding ladies at Plano Presby suggested an Herb called Fenugreek. It helped get my milk production back into the normal range. even though I still used formula for 2 feedings a day, I was able to breast feed for a full year by taking Fenugreek. Take care and good luck. I hope I haven't offened you with my unsolicited advice...:-)

I am not interested in buying it -- they are generally a single person use item?

But, I ran into the same problem with mine. You may not be using the correct size breast sheild - the plastic part that touches you. They come in sizes -- I know that babies r us carries the next size up- large. There is an extra large available too -- you can go the medela web site for that. Also at the web site it shows what the pump should look like in the video when it is working correctly.

Just thought you may want to try that prior to selling it? Also, at breastfeedingworld.com -- they have lots of products to make using a pump on a regular basis easier -- I used my pump for 6 months with a hands free pumping bra and larger breast sheilds.

I am passing on advice that was given to me by a friend of mine -- because didn't want to see the 200 plus I spent go to waste.

How much are you wanting to sell it for?

Hi, I had some problems with my milk flow and a friend recommended I try a vitamin supplement called Fenugreek. It really did the trick. That, and drinking lots and lots of water. If you do buy it, go to a good health food store or one that sells organic items. I went to Natural Health Market in Frisco. I paid $18 and took one pill a day and it really did work. I hope this helps.

I am interested.
Please let me know the price and brand so I can look it up and I will get back with your. You can e-mail me at ____@____.com

There's also a tea called "Mother's Milk" that does great things!
