Any breast leakage in a non-pregnant/lactating woman should be reported to her doctor.

Hi S.,
My suggestion is that your daughter check this out. It could be nothing but I don't think it should go without checking.

Breast leakage can be very common in a young female, even when they haven't had children. However, it can also be a sign of a more serious condition. First, make sure your daughter really is not pregnant. Has she taken a pregnancy test? Breast leakage can occur early in pregnancy. Second, does she wear tight clothes or a tight bra? In some women, that can stimulate the breasts to leak milk. Finally, if she had breastfed in the past, that can prime the breasts to leak milk in some women with even slight stimulation directly on the nipple. If the leakage has been going on for more than 2 weeks, I would consult a doctor. Breast leakage can rarely be a sign of a brain or breast tumor. Not to scare you, but if all the above possibilities have been investigated and there is still leakage, I would recommend this as a next step. Good luck.

your daughter needs to go to her doctor and get it checked
it could be nothing but she needs to get it checked.
If she has had a mammo have her request an ultrsound as well. When we are younger our breast are more dense. They also have the new breast mri (but not all insurance will pay for it).
My good wishes are with her.

Hi S.,
Your daughter should bring this to the attention of her gyn. Most likely it is nothing to worry about, but needs treatment: an infection, overactive milk ducts, some sort of trauma. Especially that the discharge is yellowish, sounds like an infection. But it could be the first sign of something more serious - a sign that can be caught early. So please have her contact her doctor. This is breast cancer awareness month. Let's save a life.
I am 51 and have a 26 year old daughter myself. For the past year, I have been under the care of a breast care surgeon due to abnormalities on a mammagram a year ago. Nothing serious has developed, but myself, my husband, and my grown kids feel secure that I remain in the care of someone who looks out for me.
I pray all goes well.
Best Regards, W.

S.,
I urge her to go see her doctor right away, it could be nothing serious but it could also be something very serious. I don't want you to scare her, but I saw something similar a few months back in the news and it was not good. What I saw was a different kind of breast cancer that is usually not detected, the nipple also seems to be kind of flat or pushed in. It happens in young woman, and they are embarrassed to show their mothers, so by the time they go to get checked it's advanced and harder to treat. Just encourage her to go get herself checked. Then again, it could be nothing serious. I'll keep her in my prayers.
Be blessed. I.
