Breast Cancer 3 Day Help

Hi moms out there! I've been reading on various topics for several months but have yet to ask a question.

I just registered to do the Breast Cancer 3 day walk in November and need to raise $2,200 minimum.

Anyone have any great ideas to help me meet that goal? Or even better, anyone have any home based business such as Tupperware, or Gold Canyon candles, or are hair stylists, manicurists etc that would be willing to do a party to help me raise funds? I am excited to do the walk for the first time but a little intimidated about the fundraising aspect. I'm also looking for a team to join so if any of you are participating and would like an additional team member let me know.

So What Happened?

There is just a wonderful group of moms out there! Thank you to everyone who sent a reply. I am working on contacting each of you so if I have not yet I will soon I promise. I appreciate all the help and cannot wait to have a variety of fun home parties to help raise funds. I certainly plan on the car wash and am looking at the Pump it Up (I never would have thought of that...so fun!!). Thank you again.

My parties are very easy and can be done by evite on our system so friends and family from out of state of that cannot make the party can order online to help.

I have had alot of success with fundraisers. I will provide you with the catalogs and order forms. I will write you out a check for 100% of the profits from your sales. Because we are all about candles I will give you a free candle of your own.

Best of luck to you. I've had several friends do the 3 Day and said it was one of the best experiences of their life. I am a SAHM of 3 boys (5, 3, 7 mos) and started my own business after I quit working... I create personalized photo cards - birth announcements, invitations, holiday cards, etc. You can check out my website at http://www.photocardsforyou.com - I'd be happy to offer you 15% of all sales I gain as referrals from you. Believe it or not I've gotten a few orders for Christmas cards already!

Wow you are a busy person who has a lot of challenges so I am totally in awe of you doing the 3-day walk. It is a huge commitment for a wonderful cause. I raised a lot of money for my friend doing a Pump it Up fundraiser (that way the kids feel like they are helping) we also did a carwash (at Burger King) and a restaurant donated money for anyone that came in a put my friend's name on the receipt.
I also wanted to tell you about an amazing product that I started using called Mona Vie. It is juice made from the Acai berry providing more than 16 times the recommended daily intake of fruit & veggies. There is an adult formula with glucosamine that has helped me and my sister-in-law feel better than we have ever felt (we both train for runs and triathalons) and there is a child formula that has virtually "cured" my friend's son of ADHD and my kids have not gotten sick even once since they started drinking it even though strep and everything else was going around.
Please let me know if you are interested in trying it. It is the best thing that has happened to our family.

Good morning, Jana. My name is B. and I have my Cookie Lee jewelry business listing on the Mamasource site. I love doing fundraisers for these kind of causes. You do the inviting. in lieu of the hostess perks/credits, 25% of the sales will be donated to your account for the Walk! Let's put a date on the calendar and start inviting everyone you know. This is an absolutely perfect time. Our new catalog is being released this coming weekend.
Let's talk soon!
