Bottles - Round Lake,IL
I'm pregnant with my 3rd child and I'm in the market for new baby bottles. I exclusively breast fed my first 2 children and they rarely used a bottle. With this new baby, I plan to do breast feed as well as supplement with formula. I currently have Dr. Browns bottles and the only complaint I have with them is all the pieces. I've had these bottles for a couple of years and would like to update. Any recommendations for bottles: what do you guys love? I'm looking for what is best for baby as well as convenience. Thanks!

I always loved the Avent bottles, just been the easiest to use at the same time as breastfeeding. The babies just kinda latched on to those easier than others.

My sons used either the Avent bottle or Playtex VentAire bottle. Both are easy for the baby to latch on to w/o messing with how the baby latches onto you.

With my last I use Avent, he seemed to like them better then normal bottles. The nipples were easier for him to latch on to & didn't effect how he latched on to me. And I think they are easier to clean & et the powder formula into because to opening is so much bigger. I'm going to use them w/ the one I'm carring now also.
Congratz on the new baby & good luck!

I breast fed and supplemented with formula as well with my son. We started with Playtex Drop ins and they were great - I loved the convenience of disposing of the drop in liners. I eventually became tired of having to buy the drop in liners and switched to Platex VentAire and they work great as well. No problems with going from bottle to breast, and even though the bottles may require more assembly and have more parts to put together than some other bottles, I found these to actually be easier to clean than other bottles. Design of the vents causes baby to swallow considerably less air than other bottles we tried, which means less discomfort for baby. So, overall very pleased with this bottle and will use again!

I breastfed until he was 4 weeks old and now he is on formula. We use the playtex dropins bottles and he loves them. I tried doctor browns and others and he didn't like the nipple. I have just been changing the size as he gets older. Hope this helps :)
