Boston Children's Museum

We've never had a problem when we've gone. Just take precautions at any museum/child play place that you go to. We are big on hand washing and instant anti-bac when we're out. I know it's not great but we don't use lots of anti- bac at home. You can get sick any where. That museum is so much fun! With my son we didn't get to everything the first time. We went recently went & he loved it. I think you need to go for yourself I don't find it to be dirty.

I have never been, but also wanted to go. I have a friend who takes her daughter and they absolutely love it (she is 20 mos old). Bring Purell, hand wipes, and don't let her eat or drink anything until her hands are clean. Have fun!

I have taken my 3 kids there quite a few times. Any place that there are lots of kids, there will be germs. Just be safe about it. Bring some hand sanitizer and use it a couple times throughout the day and I think you'll be fine. Have fun!

I've taken my 20-month-old son there twice and he's been fine both times. He LOVES it, especially they play room they have for under threes. It's probably no more germy than most other public places; if you're really concerned, bring lots of Wet Ones and wipes!

We love going there! If you live close enough, consider purchasing a membership.
On the second floor at the end of the hall (left off the elevator) there is a designated toddler play area which is perfect for that age and they can't wander off since their is a monitor at the exit gate.
Within that area there's also a bathroom with a tot-level sink perfect for washing hands.
We all get busy and caught up in the moment- I wish more people remembered to wash their hands, especially before eating!
For convenience I also carry around "Wet Ones". They sell a "baby safe" version at Target which has a green cap.
Instead of being paranoid, just be proactive about it.
I know I get like that sometimes but really, fun and some socialization are more important.

Kids pick up germs everywhere. I think we get sick after every routine pedi. visit
but we have to go. Pack up some hand wipes and have fun!

We have taken my 3 year old there three or four times in the last 6 months and he has never gotten sick. He absolutely loves it. If you are worried, be sure to wash your child's hands and try to have her keep her hands out of her mouth.
