Book Clubs in Denton?
Anyone know of a good book club in Denton to get involved with over the summer? I'd like to meet with younger moms who just enjoy a good book and some lively discussion!

If you find one, let me know. I have a friend who started one in Dallas but it's just too far to drive for me. I'm a former English teacher with a degree in literature. I love staying home with my daughter, but I miss the intellectual stimulation. A book club would be perfect!

Hi HD,
Our mom's group, Greater Lewisville Mothers & More has a "Book Club" that you're more than welcome to join. They meet in Denton and this month's book is - Lovely Bones, by Alice Sebold (fiction).
Here's a link to our website for info about our Mom's group, and the book club: www.mothersnmore.com.
BTW: We've also got an OPEN HOUSE event coming May 20th, that you are welcome to attend! :)
Take care,
EB

Hi HD
I live in COrinth and starteda bookclub last year. We meet every 6 weeks or so at each others house for dinner and discussion. We take turns picking the books out.
We have different ages, but most have kids that are between 4 and 10. All different education levels and ages.
We have a great time.
email me at ____@____.com and I can give you more info.
Our next meeting is May 16.
Sincerely,
K.

look at Barnes/Noble; i think they usually have a few going at their stores. You might call your local library for leads too. Look at Meetup.com and google groups. I bet there are many listed on those websites, maybe some specifically for women.
