I've never known any special recipes, other than fried baloney sandwiches.
Store it in a ziplock bag.
My kids finally started eating deli meat sandwiches and I want to know how do you store bologna.
I wrap it up and have it in a plastic Tupperware in the fridge , but wondering for any ideas to keep fresher longer.
Also, any good bologna sandwich recipes for kids. Mine is just may and mustard with cheese.
Thanks for all the answers. Will try the recipes and storage tips are same as mine, so that is good to know.

Zip lock bag should keep it fine.
It's been years since I've had any (we eat ham/chicken/turkey sandwiches these days).
I use to LOVE fried bologna and onions with scrambled eggs for breakfast.
I like my bologna lightly browned in the fryer with cheese , bread and mustard/mayo
I keep it in the deli bag. My favorite bologna sandwich is bologna and yellow mustard with a lot of lettuce.
My favourite is Wonder Bread, bologna and processed cheese slice with mustard. Our bologna comes from the deli in a zip lock bag and that is what I store it in. We usually eat it within 4-5 days if purchase. My kids like it the same way but without the mustard.
I love bologna with mayo and sliced tomatoes
I just leave it the package it comes in. It reseals so it's no issue. Otherwise I'd put it in a zip lock baggie.
I just keep lunch meat in the package it comes in, I never thought to do anything else. Even when I get good, high quality lunch meat from a real deli, I just keep it wrapped up in the paper they sold it to me in.
Store in plastic wrap or baggies, should be good for close to a week. It can also be frozen.
Recipes: many ways to fix. Warm / fried in non stick skillet.
For cold cut sandwiches, varieties of cheese, lettuce, pickle slices, mayo / Miracle Whip / mustard (any type, yellow or spicy), sliced tomatoes..
Add potato chips on the bologna, one of my favorites. Sometimes plain bread, bologna, chips and pickles (sweet or bread 'n butter pickles)
Make like a BLT.
Add bologna instead of ham for "ham" and cheese. Try different types of breads or buns.
You want to store it with as little air as possible. Ziplock and push out all the air before sealing.
We get the good stuff sliced at the deli. It's an all beef bologna by Boor's Head. While I grew up on Oscar Meyers, I don't really care for it anymore. We pile on lettuce, cheese (not the processed kind, the nice sharp cheddar or even provolone or pepper jack or a combination thereof), cut up bell peppers, sometimes some sprouts if we have them. We use it just like any other cold cut on a sandwich and pile on the toppings just the same too. We also mix it with other cold cuts, our favorite being a London Broil or a nice roast beef we get from the same deli.
We always store it in a zip bag in the refrigerator. It last long enough for us to finish it off before it goes bad.
