Boarding

Anyone know of a dog boarding place that has outdoor kennels?

What can I do next?

I don't know of any that will keep a pet outside all the time, there's a safety factor there between the Texas weather and something happening to your pet while nobody is there at night. They should all allow plenty of outside play time though. American Pet Spa & Creature Comforts are both really good.

We use Hilltop Kennels in Argyle. They have a website and live on the property. They are WONDERFUL. We have also used Kennel Kare in Roanoke but I would not recommend them.

The Bark n Lounge in Keller only puts them in the indoor kennel at night or nap time...otherwise they're outside or in the indoor playroom all day! Good luck. Probably no outdoor kennels b/c of the Texas weather...?

Hi C., Kennel Kare - they're in Keller and Roanoke, has indoor/outdoor kennels for all the dogs they do keep them inside on the really hot 100 degree days for the most part but I would expect that. They're reasonably priced, $18 a day through summer and at Christmas time and $16 a day for other times of the year. Of course there are the extras you can add on. www.kennel-kare.com. We go to the one in Keller, it's in a wooded area near horse farms etc and on the way to the airport for us. (I live in N. Ft. Worth/Keller). They're very friendly and the manager lives on-site. You can call and set up a tour with them as well.

Hi C.~
We've been boarding our dog here for about 5 years and have always been very pleased. They have indoor and outdoor parts of their kennel(there is a doggie door so the dog can be either inside or outside in their own kennel). They are located in Argyle, not sure if that is in your area.

Hope that helps,
N.

Try the Pet Mansion in Keller. The owners are amazing humans and they have it all!! J.

I'm thinking (I'm not positive) Creature Comfort may have the option of outdoor kennels. They are in Arlington, we used them, however it has been many years ago. You might want to check with them.
