Pregnancy hormones slow down/relax your intestines.
That means what ever you eat takes longer to move through (gives you a chance to absorb more nutrients for the pregnancy) and that makes you feel bloated.
Up your fiber and fluids.
Prunes, raisins, steel cut oatmeal, water, herbal tea, etc are all great.
Every pregnancy is different.
Discuss all this stuff with your doctor.

Very typical to have more bloating - it's annoying but usually it's nothing to be concerned about. Hormones are wonderful things, aren't they?

Now, when you say it's as if you're "six months pregnant" are you exaggerating at all because you just feel yucky about your body? Did you carry very small babies before so "6 months" for you is on the small side for many other women? Or is this so much bloating that you really can only fit into standard maternity clothing? If the latter, I'd give the doctor a call - they all take calls on weekends. Are you constipated at all? Is there anything else going on? Are you evenly distended (the same on the right and the left)? Any pain on one side or the other? If anything is unusual, I'd call in.

And every pregnancy can be different from the others - it's also normal to be more tired but that's because you're chasing other kids around.

Congrats and hope you get rid of the morning sickness soon!

It could be that slowed digestion is causing you to back up. I know this is gross, but it happened to me early in every pregnancy and I came to call it "poo belly" . Sorry, for the visual. Likely you are experiencing bowel distention or abdominal distention from the slowed digestion. It looks like you are showing even when the fetus is the size of a grain of rice.

Normal. With baby 2 and 3 I looked 6 months pregnant almost as soon as I found out I was pregnant. By the time I was 7-8 months I was being asked if I was having twins or triplets although I only gained 40 lbs with baby 2 and 21lbs with baby 3. Also does not mean baby will be big. My biggest baby was baby 2 and he was 8lbs 6oz.
