You could also try Harmony Birth in Campbell -- it may be closer than Blossom in Palo Alto. They have amazing classes there and a beautiful facility.

Check out Blossom Birth in Palo Alto. A great birth and parenting resource. on the web at www.blossombirth.org. I took a prenatal class there and went to their new moms groups after the birth of my daughter last June. H. V

If you're looking for a natural childbirth class, I don't have any to suggest.

However, I attended a day long course at Day One in Palo Alto (great place to check out anyway!) and they went through what to expect during the process from early contractions through the first weeks home with the baby. They didn't do breathing techniques or exercises, but it was lead by a Labor & Delivery nurse and very informative for a first time mom! =)

I highly recommed Birthing from Within classes. You can find them at Blossom birth http://blossombirth.org/classes-bp.html

I had my son at El Camino Hospital in Mountain View and they had *excellent* birthing classes prior to my going in to labour there 5 years ago...they are a fabulous hospital, I would recommend their labour&delivery and maternity teams to anyone.
Good luck!

Loved our Hypnobirthing classes. You can look online and find a list of providers in your area. Good luck and congrats!

Hi B.,
They have several classes at El Camino Hospital for new moms.

I absolutely loved my Bradley Birthing Classes. They are based around natural childbirth and are SO amazing at teaching what the body does during labor and childbirth. They are also great for pregnancy education...look them up at www.bradleybirth.com Hope this helps!
