Birthday Party Ideas for 6 Year Old Girl

I am looking for ideas for my daughter's 6th birthday party. We have done the indoor playgrounds, community center swimming... She wants to go to Pump it Up this year but it is so expensive. Does anyone have any unique ideas? She is into girly things, Hannah Montana, High School Musical, dancing, gymnastics...
Thanks!

What can I do next?

My daughter went to a party at a friends house last year. She was into House of Rock and Hannah Montana. The mom did makeover's on the kids. She bought makeup, glitter, hair glitter, etc. and had the kids choose what they wanted done and did that for them. She had such a good time that this year we may consider that also! The age ranged from 3yrs-10years. There were a few boys there also but they had something different for the boys to wear. Have fun!

In the Company of Kids in Burnsville will do any theme party you'd like. They include costumes, games, activities, food . . . everything except the cake. We had a princess party for my daughter there and it was great.

In the past, we've rented a blow up jumper from our local rental business. It's a hit with everyone (including the adults)!

Hi J. -

My dtr is turning 6 this year too and we are planning a Diva Dance party. We made up the name . . . but she too is into dance, gymnastics, and dress up. We are incorporating all of that into one party. Similar to a spa party - we're doing hair, makeup, nails stations and then we plan to have the girls bring their favorite dress-up outfit for a little dance at the end. I plan to have a lot of volunteers so that we can have stations for the girls to get all dolled up. There are a ton of party websites out there so it's not that hard to find ideas. My dtr doesn't really know HSM or HM (she knows of them but hasn't watched it much so, to make it cheaper don't go with those theme items. Stick with generic. Good Luck!

Lots of people have Karoki machines now - check around and see if you can borrow one of those and have the girls sing and give Hannah Montana concerts. My daughter will be 7 this year and her and her friends love doing that. In fact if you don't mind the mess - find some old make up and let them do their make up and find some old dress up clothes and they will go to town.
I recently found a the party store little manicure sets for like a $1.00 each - let them do each others toes!! This age girls can so easily find ways to laugh and have fun without a lot of money being spent. OH one thing we did last year that the girls loved - I got just a cheap blow up pool for the back yard - one that was just big enough for them to sit in really but I had picked up those foam sunvisors and got different craft stuff so they decorated their own visors. Turned on the sprinkler and they sat in the pool and ran through the sprinkler for a long time!! Have fun!

We went to a gymnastics center off the Brown Deer RD on 50ish st??? for his friend's party. It was so great!!! Now my soon to be 6 year old son want one there also. It was about $130 for 20 kids I think!!! Have fun!!!

Send out cut out megaphone invitations. Have the girls dress alike. ex. pink skirt/white t and tennis shoes with bobby socks. Hire 2 cheerleaders to come and teach them a cheer. Thank you cards could be a picture pose of your daughter and guest in a cheer pose. I did this for my daughter when she was 5. She's never forgotten it. Cheerleaders are a GREAT role model and make the party very exciting. Oh, their party favor was poms that matched the colors we chose for them to wear. I paid the cheerleaders 10 dollars and hour ea. They were there for an hour and a half.

you could try Libby Lu or Build a Bear at the MOA.
