I have some friends who work at My Gym which is a children's gym and they throw parties there. You just tell them the age group of the party and they plan activities for the kids. There are a few locations around San Diego and I believe they have a website...Hope this helps :D

Kidventure is another place. Kids are safe and occupied and adults can talk freely w/o worry.
