Hi all,

I am seeking some ideas for my daughter's 7 year old party. In the past, we have done the jumping party, swimming party, parties at the park and Sweet and Sassy. I think she would like to do a gym party but I don't know any here in the HEB area. Although, I don't think it really matters.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

J.

Pennington Field (the football stadium at 183 & Central) has a gymnastics area. My son went to a birthdy party there a couple of years ago and had a blast. I would recommend calling the stadium for more information. If they can't help you, call Bell High School or Trinity High School...that is where both of their gymnastics teams practice on occasion.

There is an ASI Gymnastics in Keller on 377. Also, the Little Gym has birthday parties as well.

I know Empire Gymnastics in Euless offers birthday parties. I don't know how much they are, but they've been kind enough to donate a free party certificate to our MOMS Club for the past two years (I've never been the lucky winner, so I don't have the details re: how many kids, how long it is, etc.).

You said she wanted a gym party. Try Elzie Odem! It's an Arlington Recreation Center and they have, sports, rock climbing, etc. Here is the link to their website!

think its called Little Gym or something like that its a great place for parties if you want to do a "Gym" party. There are several locations. They also do "Parents Night Out" so you can get a break for a few hours. As well as camps. Also a carnival theme could be alot fun, we did that for my daughters 4th b-day and the kids loved it, we did hay rides and a cake wall. An apple tree, everything you can think of we had it. Oriental Trading gas alot of stuff for that theme and you buy in bulk and save! Parents.com has alot of party ideas as well. Since she is 7 you could also do a craft party so they can make jewelry and tiara's. Good luck what a lucky little girl.

Hi J.!

Have you ever done a kidnapping party? The attendants have no idea about the party, only their parents. Then you drive to each girls house in the morning and kidnap them out of their beds. Its hysterical! a video camera is a must. Then those girls drive to the next house and you get the next girl. The parents know about it so they already have the gift ready. Then everyone goes back to your house, or wherever and you have a donut cake (stacked donuts with candles) and juice. We played karaoke and made music videos. The photos are hilarious looking back at who wore what to sleep in the night before. Some girls looked real cute with matching jammies and some girls looked like zombies! So much fun!

Lifetime Fitness Center in Colleyville does parties. They're not cheap, but the kids can choose 2 or all 3 activies including swimming, rock climbing and/or playing games (I think). I'm sure if you call or reference the web-site you can get all the information you need. There's also Sunbelt Gymnastics on Grapevine Hwy. I hope this helps.
