Birthday Party - Livonia, MI

Hello All,

My daughter who is turning 5 in the next month would like to have a birthday party outside of home. Is there any places anyone could recommend? Thanks for your help.

What can I do next?

Hi A.

1) Build a Bear Workshop

2) Skating party

3) There's a great place on Franklin and Square Lake Road that does great birthday parties...The Gymnastic Center?...or something like that.

4) Bowling Party

5) Beverly Hills Club on Southfield Road (they have great Kizworld/XRcade/gym party options)

6) For my son's 5th birthday, we had a pajama party (without the sleepover). Kids came in their jammies, had a dance party, played games, ate popcorn, watched a movie, more games, and then went home. Most successful party I've ever had for him. Thay all had a riot.

I would suggest Club Libby Lu. I know there is one at the the Laurel Park Mall. It is inexpensive and a blast for the little girls. They do makeovers, dress up, shop, make potions (lotions and soaps) and dress stuffed animals. I brought my boyfriends little girl there a few weeks ago and she loved it. Cannot wait to go back. It was a great time. Check out www.clublibbylu.com

Have you thought about going to pump it up in Canton? If you aren't farmiliar, you rent a huge room with several huge bounce houses. They are big enough for even adults to go in and kids of all ages seem to have a great time. Check out their website, www.pumpitupparty.com For a reasonable price you get a nice party. We are having my 4 year old daughter's party there this year! Good luck!

Chuck E Cheese is also a great place for a birthday party. What is your daughter's favorite resturant. I know that McDonald's also does birthday parties. Ceasearland is a good one as well.

I have heard that Jungle Java is really nice.. I believe there are 3 different locations one is in Farmington.. If you goodle it you will locate the website

Where are you located?
I heard they opened a newer bounce place near the Meijer in Royal Oak (14 & Crooks area).
Will there be boys at the party?
My 5 year old wants to come to the salon where I work for her party. The girls will get their nails done and we will have cake & ice cream there since we have a big basement at the shop.
The beauty school I attended did similar parties for kids birthdays.

We just went to one at a place called Bouncing off the Walls in Wyandotte.. It was very nice.. The whole place is rented to you and your party, no one else for 2 hours.. they provide pizza and party favors.. you bring your own cake... The inflatables were great and very age appropriate.. The kids had a blast.

My daughter who will also turn 5 in May wants a BUILD A BEAR workshop. They start at $10 per child and you can go down to the food court and eat your cake and ice cream.
