My daughter turns 4 in June and quite honestly - I am at a loss for what to do for her birthday, which she is SO excited about. She is a"girlie" girl, loves "tea parties", dressing up, putting on "make up" ... does anyone know of a place around Hurst that I could take her party guests to have "girlie" fun? Cost really isn't an issue, fun factor is high priority.

My daughter is a girly girl also, but we had her 4th b-day party last year at Pump it Up and they all loved it! But strictly for girls consider Sweet and Sassy in Southlake Townsquare or Let's Pretend Tea Parties on Main Street in Grapevine. Have fun!

Sounds like she would LOVE a Libby Lu Party (I think that's how you spell it!). I don't think they have one in Northeast Mall, but I know they have one in the Parks Mall in Arlington. You could look them up and find their locations. They have different packages that you can buy for each guest where they make goodie bags and stuffed animals, they put makeup on them, fix their hair - complete with glitter and all the accessories, dress them up, take their pictures as if they're models, then they dance and parade around the mall. It is perfect for a "girly girl"! My little girl had an absolute blast! My little girl will be 8 this summer and we've decided to improvise and have a glamour party at our house. I'm having a couple of my friends come over to help do makeup, hair, nails, etc., then we're going to take them to dinner. It may not be much cheaper, but it's another idea.

I just went to a party at Chelsea's tea house for a neighbors little girl that was fabulous!!!! All the little girls have their nails painted, dress up like princesses and have a tea party - they parade around in their dress up gowns (provided by the tea house) and the Birthday queen gets to turn all her friends into princesses with a magic wand and they all get tiaras and wands to take home (mine still wears hers)- it is perfect for her age and what she likes!!! ###-###-####, give them a call!

K.,

I am doing a Princess Teddy Bear Tea Party for my daughter's 4th Birthday this weekend. I am having the girls wear their favorite Princess outfit. We are going to stuff a new teddy bear (or other animal) to share our tea with. I have many outfits available for the girls to dress their new "friend" in. Check out my web-site for animal and outfit choices. I have done parties where the girls make a FROG, that will turn into their prince (usually for older girls), the little ones seem to prefer a choice. I bring the party to your house or a room that you rent. I am doing mine at a hotel.

Hope this helps,
H.

I know you are in Hurst - but there is a place in Keller off Main (377/Denton HWY) called House of Chix. I think it might be what you are looking for. I know they do "girlie" parties!

I don't know if there is one in Hurst or not, but have you thought of a Libby Lou trip? They are usually in the mall. It's a little store where the girls get to dress up in cute outfits, get their hair and make up done and then take pictures for memories.

I was shopping on Main Street in Grapevine a couple of weeks ago and one of the stores there was having a tea party for a little girl's birthday. They were DRESSED UP!!! boas, hats, gloves, etc. After the tea party, they paraded down Main Street---it was the cutest. I cannot remember the name of the store, but will try to find it!

You might try to find a Luby-Lu's near you. There is one in Vista Ridge mall
in Lewisville(where I live) and they do great "Girlie" birthday parties where they will dress them up and do their hair and make-up and take thier pictures, the girls have so much fun!
Good Luck!

K. - There is an antique store on either Bedford-Euless Rd or Pipeline that does tea parties. For the life of me, I can't remember the name of the place. :) Anyway, they have a ton of dress up clothes and let the kids dress in them, do the tea party (showing them how to hold the pinky and whatnot...so cute!), then parade them through the antique store for the customers to oooh and aaah over them.

Hi K.! There are 2 places I know of that you might try. One is in Grapevine and it's a little shop on Main Street that has a room for tea parties for little kids. They have a real tea party and have dress up clothes and everything. I'm sorry I don't know the name of the shop, but I know it's on the West side of the street and it shows "tea parties" on the outside front window. It's really very cute! The second thing is a company called Oogles-n-Googles. The local franchise is based in Colleyville. The address is 1700 Tennison Pkwy, Suite 103-E, Colleyville, TX 76034 and the phone number is ###-###-####. You can also contact them thru their website http://www.ooglesngoogles.com/birthday-parties-ftworth-tx... If you click on their party themes, there is one that's called Teddy Bear Tea that sounds perfect for your little girl. They have other "girlie" themes as well. Good luck on finding the perfect party for your daughter. I hope this information will help! Best wishes, N.
