Im looking for suggestions for my sons 13th Birthday. He is past the kiddie stage and wants to do something cool. Do's anyone have any suggestions for me. It dosen't have to be a full blown party it could just be something with a few friends. It is for Mid-November.

Take him and his friends to a Japanese steak house. Very fun and entertaining and the kids all LOVE it!
Fright Fest at Six Flags Great America would be great for a 13yo boy and a few friends. Could be a little pricey, but perhaps the guests take care of their own admission and you take care of their food? You didn't mention what date you are looking for, but they are currently closed but open weekends in October.

I was going to suggest Whirly Ball, as well. I think it would be fun for 13 year olds.
Hi. I would suggest Dave & Busters or Gameworks. Teens and those young at heart love all the arcade type video games. They both have party packages but you can just show up as a group too. I think they require people under a certain age (18, I think) to leave by 9 o'clock but if you get there early enough that shouldn't be a problem. Whirly Ball, bowling, and mini golf, also would work for that age group.
They have Whiryball in Vernon Hills. I think that would be cool for a 13 year old!
