Has anyone been to the Big Orange Pumpkin Farm in Celina, TX? My family wants to go tomorrow and I know nothing about it except that they have a petting farm, pumpkin patch, etc. Do they have food or other things to do for the children?

What can I do next?

Hi M. - We have been every year for the last 5 years. Both of my boys love it! They have animals to feed (goats, sheep, longhorns), a hayride and various other activites. I believe on Saturdays and Sundays a hot dog is included with your admission (and they have chips, drinks, etc to purchase) but through the week they do not serve food. My boys love to go and feed the animals and just be free to run around! I can never predict crowds though - sometimes when we go there are very few people there and other times it is extremely crowded. You may have already been to their website but here is a link just in case!

My son and I recently went there and enjoyed ourselves. It is in a beautiful setting. Yes, they do have food. They had hot dogs, various snacks and drinks with tables to eat on. We had the best time on the hay ride---it's a long one all around the property-you even go by an old white church and a beautiful lake. Feeding the animals was fun too. They didn't have a walk in type of petting zoo, but animals you could feed and pet behind wire fencing. Hope you and your family have fun!

M. we have been several years in a row, and never been dissapointed. The years that we have gone there has not been "people" food. They also have hay rides...it is very fun! Good Luck and Happy Halloween!

We just went there last week and had fun. But...If you don't want to drive far, also try Owen's Springcreek Farm in Richardson off Plano Rd. They have the exact same things to do and I believe are owned by the same company. I don't think I'll drive to Celina again. It wasn't much different.

We love it! I've taken my daughter there every year since she was 2. It's our annual tradition now. She hasn't gotten bored w/ it yet and she's 7. On top the fun activities that the others already mentioned, there are lots of great places to take photos too so we always get in a few Fall pics. I definitely reccommend it!!
