Best Wii Games for Preschooler
We just bought our 4 year old son at Wii for his birthday and gandma would like to buy him some games.
What are some of the best games for a 4 year old.
I am looking for both games that he can play alone (with minimal help) and games that we can enjoy together as a family.
Also, does anyone have Toy Story Mania? Would this be a good choice?
Would appreciate any help.
Thanks in advance.

My 5 yr old daughter got World of Zoo for Christmas. Super cute game, you get to design animals and then take care of them. If you take good care of them, you earn new items, toys, etc. She loves it and so does the rest of the family!

The only Wii game made specifically for preschoolers is Learning with the Pooyoos. It is a Wiiware game (you must download it through the system), and it only costs $5. It has 2 learning levels that will help your son learn to use the Wiimote.
We got this for my 4 year old daughter this past Christmas. She still loves the game! I don't think she'd be able to play anything else at this point. I don't see her understanding the concept of much else. With the Pooyoos, they do simple things like pick which animal matches the silhouette shape. They can do this by clicking the corresponding button on the Wiimote, or in the 2nd level by pointing the Wiimote at the screen & clicking a button.
If your son is more familiar with playing video games, he may be able to play other things like Mario Party, Animal Crossing, and even Wii Fit Plus.

My 4 year old loves the lego batman, star wars and Indiana Jones games. He can play himself or with someone else. We don't have any others.

The only game we could find that my son could play independently was the "Go Diego Go" games. They were great and once he figured those out, other games became easier for him.

My mother in law bought Wii for the kids this past Christmas. I have a 4 year old too. She absolutely loves the sports game that has bowling on it. She can play by herself if her sisters don't want to play. She also loves the Mario cart. I'm sure there are games out there that are aimed at preschoolers and some that are probably educational too. I just don't have any of them yet.
