Hi Mommies! My toddler boy has a penchant for using my iPhone. He loves to play a game I downloaded for him. Someone suggested he might like a Vtech learning game for situations like doctor office waiting rooms, long car trips, etc. so my phone isn't a battle anymore. I like this idea. I am against video games as a general rule but I figure if he's using a device to learn to count, letters, colors, etc. I'm good with it. Any suggestions?

We have the Vtech MobiGo Touch and my 8,6, and 3 year olds all like it and think it's fun. My 8 and 6 year old also have Nintendo DSs but will play with the MobiGo whenever given the chance. The REALLY like the touch screen. The Super Hero Squad sport game cartridge is everyones favorite. Hope that helps.

i let my son use my iphone too...he's 4..he likes all the tap games..like tap zoo..tap city..zombiefarm..tap space..he makes some beautiful cities in tap city..i could not have done that at 4..sometimes just to get through a meal we have to let him use my phone..b/c he's all over the place..as for Vtech..he's lost interest...i wouldn't invest too much in the vtech games ..i think the iphone games are more fun for them

I got my son a Leapster. It's age appropriate for 2/3 year olds and has lots of learning games. We took it on the airplane, in the car and to family dinners when we knew he'd be bored. When my son turned 7 I got him a PSP. I think DS and PSP is too involved for a 2/3 year old. Hope this helps.
