Best Place to Get Pictures Taken

This year I would like to get my kids pictures taken somewhere other than Wal-Mart (no offense to Wal-Mart- I go there what seems like everyday- I just want something different) and I was wondering if ya'll could give me some ideas as to where to go- Sears, JC Penneys, Picture People, or some other place close to Lewisville that I have never heard of.

What can I do next?

We used Target Studios for awhile and they're okay but we just loved Portrait Innovations! The pricing is comparable to Target but you get the pics same day instead of 10 days and they did a much better job with my son. It's not as cramped at Target.

I have been using Sear for about 5 years now in different states. I really like the one at Vista Ridge Mall ask for Jeff. He has done a great job with all my girls. My two younger girls hate taking pictures and he has gotten both to smile and not cry. If you can get the first slot they open so you don't have to wait. Your the first one in and no waiting around. Go to www.searsphots.com and they have lots of coupons to offer. I have done Picture People at the same mall but they just seemed to rush the picture taking and I wasn't to happy with the quality of the pictures. You can tell my two younger ones had been crying.

I am a child photographer and throughout January, I'm offering my services for free (as in the session fee is waived--a $200 value--you would still have to pay for your prints) Please visit my website & contact me if you're interested!

We go to Kiddie Kandids in Grapvine Mills Mall. Stopped going to the Babies R Us location when one of the photographers screamed at my 2 month old (who was a premie) that he was being stubborn for not holding up his head! Grapevine Mills is great though. Also really like Portrait Innovations. It's the only place that I have been able to get great photos of my autistic child. Ask for Sarah.

There is a wonderful photographer in Plano. The name is Ann Martin Photograhy. She also has a web site check it out ____@____.com luck to you

I tried and loved Studio One to One photography. They have several locations. The pictures are more fun and real life as opposed to very posed and staged. You pay a bit more, I think $40.00 a sheet, so it's not something you do every month. However, I wish I could show you the unique shoots we got last year. If you go the their website you can print a coupon for a free 8x11 to help ease the sticker shock. Also you can see the unique photo's they take.

Another Studio One to One fan here. They are expensive but we have the most wonderful and unique pictures of my kids from them. We get our family pictures and Christmas pictures done there. We prefer the StoneBriar location. Sign up for e-mails on their website and they'll e-mail you coupons all the time.
