Best Place to Get Pictures

My son just turned one and I haven't had any professional pictures made! Where is the best place to go?

What can I do next?

I've had pictures done at Olan Mills and JC Penney's Portrait Studio. I was happy with their service, but it can be a bit costly. I was recently referred to Wal-Mart by a friend that has a 3 1/2 year old daughter. They have plenty of money, but they say that Wal-Mart does a wonderful job and you can't beat the price. I plan to check this out very soon for myself.

Olan Mills is the best (a little expensive, but very nice pictures)

JC Penney, Sears, and Target do ok for the price.

Hello - I have found that if you just want an affordable package of pics, that Kmart Portrait Studios are good. It's best to go at a good time or they will rush you and act kind of cranky. Call ahead and ask for a good time. They put the Olan Mills stamp on their pics, which gives them a studio appearance.

Then, for pricey, there's Garrison's in Douglasville. Very classic - lots of very nice props.

That's an easy question to answer!
If you want pictures done on a budget, try Walmart. They do nice pictures without the high cost. Then if money is no object you might want to try Picture People at Arbor Mall in Douglasville. Also, Sears has a Photo Studio. Those are just a few ideas. Hope this helps.

I too am looking for the same thing this weekend. I saw a magazine article in Parents comparing picture companies. JC Penny was the cheapest and the best for your money. The Picture People were really good too and the lady at daycare had good things to say about them but they were more expensive. Good Luck!
