Where is the best place to get a good deal on prescription eye glasses? Something a tad bit stylish for a female 40 yr old. I only wear them at night after I take my contacts out so I am looking for something reasonable!

What can I do next?

As long as you have your prescription, they can fill the order..

Our daughter has ordered 4 pairs, I have ordered 1 and my husband has ordered 2.. We have been very pleased..

As soon as I get a new prescription. I am going to purchase some bifocal sunglasses!

This was suggested by a good friend and now we laugh because so many of us have ordered them because of her.

COSTCO! Especially if you are blind or need bifocals, lol. I was so impressed with their prices and quality. I joined just to get my glasses....

We tried America's Best for my teenagers and the frames broke and bent quickly. My husband got his there and was not impressed with anything but the price and is now shopping again.

My two cents!

Costco, Walmart, and JC Penneys.
Last summer I thought I got a good deal for my son's glasses at Costco, and then saw a special at Penneys and got him a spare pair for half the price.

When America's best was having a promotion they had the best prices around... I had a contact/glasses eye exam. I still bought my contacts at walmart (they just want a prescription) but I bought my 2 pairs of glasses through america's best that was all wrapped in their deal.

we have a place here called optical outlet (or it may be payless optical outlet now). They have single vision glasses - frames & lenses for $39.95 and bifocals for $59.95. Great frames.

I have had a couple of friends say that Costco is the way to go. I have had Lasik about 12 years ago and I may get them for driving at night so this is where I will go.

Once you have your prescription, you could try this place:

They have some frames for $7.95 and I'm very happy with the glasses I got from them.
