I am moving to Las Vegas and I am going to have the Health Plan of Nevada as our health insurance. I have twins that are almost 1, but they were born 3 months prematurely, so I need a reliable pediatrician. Any suggestions would be helpful. Thanks in advance.
Fremont Children's Clinic. I use Dr. David Dorway. I have also seen a few of the other doctors there as well, all are fine. They have offices in Summerlin and in Henderson.

Hi A. , I myself had been looking for a really good pediatrician, and like you have Helath Plan of Nevada. I have my childern with Dr. Ezhuthachan at the Eastern location. However everyone just calls her Dr.E not to sure how to really pronounce her name,but shes really awsome,always there to here you out and really shows that she cares for each and everyone of her patients.I hope i helped you out.I perrty much gone thru most of there peds and she was the one i found the best there.
Is your insurance an hmo or ppo? I only ask b/c lots of docs out here will take the ppo of hpn but not the hmo plan. If its an ppo, and you're in the Summerlin Area, I suggest Dr. John Lepore with Kidfixers pediactrics. They are located in Summerlin Hospital and god forbid, your babies need to be hospitalizd (like mine did) its GREAT to have them in the hospital to come see you throughout the day. Even the front desk staff is pleasant! :) love them lots there.

First of all congrats! I'm sure you're super busy with the twins! I'm not sure if they accept HPN insurance, but I take both of my kids to Muriel Desimone. She is located off Tropicana and Durango in the southwest area of town. The office staff is great, very organized! I never have to wait for my appointment time and can usually get a same day appt for illnesses if I need it. She also has a walk in sick time every morning from 7-8am for those unexpected sicknesses! I also have twins who are one (born two months premature) and another set who are six years old. I love, love, love Desert Valley Pediatrics. They have a couple different offices that I've visited with the kids - one is located in Summerlin and another a little further Northwest. We see Dr. Michael Nyarko. He is very knowledgeable and also very thorough with well baby check ups (this is coming from a pediatric physical therapist, too!)...

I use St. Rose Pediatrics. They have two locations.
We have Dr. Glasser for a pediatrician. We are VERY happy with her. Her practice is called "Bright Futures Pediatrics" on Warm Springs Dr. We have a 6mos old, a 4.5 yr old and a 2.5yr old. We moved to Vegas in Jan. We tried some other pediatricians, but we were not happy. After chatting with a bunch of people, it seems like we are very lucky to have her. Best of luck!
