Hi

I am looking for an ob/gyn in north Austin. I would prefer a female ob/gyn who works for any of the following centers

2. Austin Diagnostic Clinic OB/GYN

3. Renaissance Women’s Group

4. OB/GYN North

5. Austin Area Obstetrics

6. Gynecology and Fertility Group

Thanks for you time and input

What can I do next?

So What Happened?™

Thanks a lot for your input. It has made by hunt for the best ob/gyn easier. I have decided to go with either Dr. Laura Merritt or with Dr. Melanie Collins. They both seem equally good as per my google research and with the input that I received from you all....Thanks again

Dr. Melanie Collins is fabulous! She was my ob/gyn for both of my pregnancies. Her NP is Jennifer and she is great too. I've had only great experiences with RWG and their doctors.

I chose Dr Meritt for my 2nd (born 2 months ago.) I thought she was very thorough and relaxed during all of my prenatal visits. She answered all my questions and was very supportive of natural childbirth. I love Dr. Darby for ultrasounds.

I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Laura Merritt with the Renaissance Women's Group. She delivered my 3rd child and was EXCELLENT. On the other hand, we used Dr Laurette Smith for my first child and would NOT recommend her.

Like many others, I love my doctor at Renaissance Women’s Group. I see Dr. Sherry Neyman. She has delivered both sets of my twins and is fabulous! Both of my pregnancies were high risk (multiples) and she followed my pregnancies very closely and was there for any concern I had. Her nurses are great as well.

I've also met most of the other doctors within RWG and like them as well. You would be in good hands there!

i'm seeing dr collins at renaissance womens group. i really like her and would recommend her to anyone. she delivers at namc. (i was at obgyn north but dr thompson who delivered my first child retired so i went back to rwg).

As a doula I have had the opportunity to work with several of these groups. A couple of the ones that I really liked (had great respect for their patients) were Dr. Christine Sebestyen, and Dr. MElanie Collins and Dr. Laura Merritt. Good luck to you,

Dr. Christina Sebestyn is amazing. She even has her own midwifes. I had friends that swear she is the best in Austin. I hope to have my next child with her.

I've lived here for just over a year and have been seeing Dr. Christina Sebestyen and highly recommend her. I've seen her 3 times and will definitely continue to see her. I've had a couple issues I had to deal with and her office got back to me quickly and the other doctors she has referred me to have worked out as well. I feel like she really listens to my concerns. What attracted me to her is her website and that she has midwives on staff. She is open to using alternative medicine such as accupuncture.
