Best Fitness Club Childcare

Ok, baby 2 is almost 1 and i'm ready to be serious about getting fit. I want a club that offers water aerobics but also has good childcare since both of mine will be there several times a week for at least 2 hours at a time. At its opening, lifetime had great care. Is it still stand above and worth the higher monthly rates? Or is the former Q, now 24 in Bedford just as good? What are your thoughts? Any other suggestions moms?

What can I do next?

My son and I both love the care at the 24 in Bedford. He was five when we were going to that one, and he always begged to stay longer. The manager was fabulous. I would definitely recommend it!

Honestly, try the Y, they have very good childcare - it's usually not fancy with video games etc but they have very well qualified caregivers and it's around $65 a month for the ENTIRE family - no extra childcare fees. If you travel at all your membership is good at ANY center in the entire country. Plus I think right now they have pay the day going on where you pay a joining fee that matches the day you join so today being the 14th you'd pay a $14 initiation fee.

I think it really depends on the area that your in, I live in the North Dallas area and went to 24 hour fitness and the people actually played with my girls. I got a wild hair and thought that if I payed more to go across the street to Lifetime it would be even better. I was wrong, some of the people at Lifetime watched the t.v. and I don't think any of them played with my kids, whereas the people over at 24 Hour Fit did. I didn't stay with Lifetime very long and went back to 24 Hour where my kids did have fun and attention was paid to them. On the plus side it was way cheaper too!!! But seriously it depends on the people that work where you go, you have to ultimately like the people who are watching your kiddos:-)

My boys love 24 hour fitness. They ask to go play at the gym. The staff is always super nice and play with the kids. It is always clean too. You get 2 hours a day and don't have to make an appointment or anything like that. They have certain hours they are closed but its so easy to work around...and isn't long periods of time. I have been to most of the clubs in this area and have been equally happy with the kids club and staff. You can ask to take a tour and check it out. :) Good for you for your motivation to be fit and healthy!

I am a member at Lifetime, it offers the best childcare. I would highly recommend this. There is a 2 hr time limit and if ur child is already walking, u dont need to make an apt, u can drop off anytime that it is open.

I am a Lifetime member in Mansfield and I would say it is definitely worth it to pay the extra money for the childcare area. I live about a mile from LA Fitness but Lifetime is several miles away but because there childcare area is so good for my 18 month old and he has been going since 3 months old. I have chosen to pay the difference and travel further since I get piece of mind when I am working out knowing my baby is being loved and taken care of. You can always tour and visit both clubs to form your own opinion but I think you will be happy with Lifetime. Deciding to get fit will also be one of the best decisions you will ever make for yourself also. Best of Luck :)

I live in Fort Worth and I have looked at all the fitness clubs around here. the best one for child care is 24 hour fitness. They have a great kids club and my kids really enjoy going. They always ask to go so it makes it hard for me to get out of going. Hope that helps!!!

I go to Lifetime in Colleyville and I think it is worth the money. The childcare workers are great, they have tons of stuff for the kids to do and they are very clean.

I also love their classes and facilities. Its worth it!
