So most of my babies food is made or in the pouches. However, some of his food is in baby food jars. Do you have any great ideas of what I can use these for. I recycle, I was just thinking maybe someone has a cute gift idea or home remedy with these cute tiny things.

I've seen them used in garages for storing small screws, etc. Sometimes they nail the lid into the bottom of a shelf and then the jars screw onto the lid and attach to the shelf.

A Christmas Tree. My made a few when I was growing up with lights and all. You can probably google for the instructions.
When I was a child, we used them at church to make spice racks for mom. someone screwed the lid into a piece of wood (that we painted) then we labled the jars with slick puffy paint with the names of spices, then you were supposed to hang under the cabinet. (I think I did the same thing the year prior for my dad's work shop, but instead of spice names, screw, nuts, etc).
Last week my son's K class used his old baby food jars to put stuff in for the kids to smell. (they're talking about the 5 senses) It could be a fun game to play at home too.
How about getting colored sand and letting the kids make cool designs?
Before my oldest went into preschool, a friends preschool age child mentioned that there teachers are always looking for those. They use them for paint, bugs, teeth, and other various things. So I donate them to the local schools and pre-schools. They always take them as well. For at home i buy spices in bulk and these are great to keep around and stack nicely in my lazy susan for easy access.
I've seen them made into votive candle holders that hang from wire wrapped around the top of the jar. You can pretty them up by adding beads to the wires.
You could also mod podge tissue paper around the outside of the jar for a candle holder idea or mod podge the outside and then cover with fine grade colored art sand.

Google "baby food jar crafts" and you will see that you can make your own snow globes, make cute little gifts with candy inside, organize your spices, make a cool looking christmas tree light-up decor, make baby shower party favors, etc.
You can make homemade snow globes out of them. I have seen a few sites and catalogs that tell you how. They are great to store small items in or to use for paint.
How about using the jars to store homemade bath salts that you can give as gifts?
We used to store nails, screws anything small.
our city wont recycle glass!!! seems like there were cute tiny snow globes and ohdeedoh had some great ideas for organizing little things. once your little one gets big enough you could use them for home made all natural finger paints. my daughter likes the salt shaker and i have thought about using one with beads inside to look like salt and pepper glued the lid on
Use the for organizers at home. For gifts, you can turn them into candles, bath salts, or even snow globes! I know there are a bunch of pages out there for "baby food jar crafts."
