There's a fantastic website, allmyfaves.com that has free online games at:
http://games.allmyfaves.com
There's also a tab at the top for 'kids' which brings you to:
http://kids.allmyfaves.com/
and there's a row of free online games.
I haven't tried the children's ones yet, but the entire site has been a great reference for me.

pbskids.org or noggin.com are good. Also, starfall.com is a great website that my three year old loves. It is for all different age levels. My older son actually used it in school when he was in kindergarten. It helps them with their letters and also helps kids learning to read and kids that are already reading.

My daughter loves the nick jr and pbs websites. All her favorite shows with easy to play games. We also open MS Word and Paint for her and let her type away.

Pbs.org is great then go to the "kids" site. Also, any of the reader rabbit cd's for pc are fabulous.

Hi R.,
My kids (even the ten year old) love Tux Paint, an open-source free program you can download for free. (Here is the link: http://www.tuxpaint.org/download/ .) It's a graphic arts program designer for little ones, similar to but waaaay better than the old "Paint" program that comes standard on PCs. My kids and my friends' kids absolutely love it and the pictures they make are phenomenal at times. Make sure when you download the basic program you download the stamps package too (you'll see what I'm talking about).
