Hi Moms!
As I mentioned the other day we are putting an additon on our house so everyone gets their own bedroom so I want a "fresh" look. Where do you recommend getting the "bedroom outfits"? Comforters, sheets, curtains, etc.
Thanks! Hope everyone has a great weekend!

What can I do next?

If there is not an IKEA by you...places like Marshall's,Ross, Tuesday Mornings have a lot of cute stuff.

I like nicer quality sheets -- 600 thread count or higher, Sateen or Egyptian cotton. I look at places like Tuesday Morning, TJ Maxx and Marshalls, and I've been pleasantly surprised with the quality from Overstock.com and Smartbargains. Just read the reviews. People are pretty brutal and you can figure out pretty fast which sets to avoid, which items just don't hold up.. and which are a steal.

It's more work - but you will get a much nicer quality of product. I don't think it matters as much for drapes, or the comforter.. but I like feeling quality, non-scratchy sheets.

Good luck!

I second IKEA. A lot of great kids designs and mixing&matching opportunities. If you (can) wait just a few more months, a alot of new articles and designs will come in at the end of the summer (AUG-OCT) after the new catalogue is published.

Full disclosure, I do work for IKEA. Not in a store, and not with textiles, but I love the bedding and have it on all my beds. I don't love the fit of the sheets sometimes...but it all depends on the mattress.
