I am looking for a terry cloth beach cover-up for my little boy (19 months)for the pool or beach. Anyone know where to buy one in Ft. Lauderdale area?

What can I do next?

Try Target. I have seen a variety of them there. They are really cute and colorful and fairly inexpensive.

Good luck.

I just got one at Target Super Center on 441 and Wiles. I'm sure they have them at all Targets in the kids departments.

Find a consignment shop - most specialize in kids, adults, sporting goods, etc. So locate a kids' consignment shop near you and bring you no longer wearing outfits and find the items you need....
This is also a good way to network in your neighborhood or church

We bought this for our son last year and a new one this year. I really love them because they are warm, but not as heavy as terry and they have the UPF 50 in the material!

If you haven't ordered from One Step Ahead, they are great, good customer service and quick delivery. I also got my son their Sun Smarties Tshirts (one or two each summer, also have the UPF 50 protection (very hard to find even down here) and these sunglasses. I've spent a small fortune on sun glasses for babies/toddlers and these are the only ones my son will wear. Super important since my Dad just had to have cataract surgery on both eyes and his doctor said it was due to sun damage from almost 40 years in South Florida.

The glasses are pretty much unbreakable - you don't need the case!

Good luck! C.
