Ballet Classes - Chattanooga,TN

My daughter loves Ballet. She is only 3 but loves to dance around the house and begs me to take her to classes. Does anyone know of a good place in or around Chattanooga where they teach ballet to kids this young?

What can I do next?

I would recommend the Chattanooga Ballet company on N Market St, simply because my daughter loves it there, they offer classes for children her age, and ballet is treated as a discipline and art, rather than an activity. I believe I called ###-###-#### to register. It is not more expensive than the other studios in town, either, and that was a pleasant suprise. Also, they perform every Christmas at the Tivoli. Awesome!

I am not sure of what age they start taking but a John A Patton center in Lookout Valley/Tiftonia there is a big ballet outfit. I want to say it is called Chattanooga Ballet?? But I am not sure.....good luck finding one!

Alecia's school of Dance in Hixson (close to Wal-mart) is great. My. daughter took a class this summer when she was only 2 (she just turned 3). They have a fairytale ballet class where the kids dress up as a different Disney princess every week. It is really cute!! The class was not offered this fall because mrs. Alecia just had a baby but she was planning to teach it again after Christmas, I think. She also has a regular ballet/tap class for 3 year olds who are potty trained.

The Little Gym on East Brainard Rd. also offers a combination ballet/tap/gymnastics class starting at age 3. Hope this helps.

My daughter took dance from Lindsey Fussell at the Chattanooga Theatre Centre when she was 4 - she loved it there. I think you can get information on classes at theatrecentre.com
