Ramona's Bakery on Sepulveda in Torrance, and King's Hawaiian Bakery in Torrance on Sepulveda also. These have been the places I go to the most for good pastries and cakes. I usually go to Albertson's for Birthday cakes because they have affordable prices for larger cakes and they're moist!

hi
We love Pollyanns Bakery in San Pedro, CA... not too close, but tolerable if you are looking for a special cake they do a great job. I believe the Torrance Bakery in Old Torrance would be a little closer and they make fantastic cakes!
Cheers

I'd recommend either the Torrance Bakery or the El Segundo Bakery. The El Segundo bakery is very small but has the most delicious cakes! I used to get birthday cakes there when I worked in El Segundo. The one with fresh banana filling is my favorite.

Hi A.,
I used to live in Torrance. You have to try King's Hawaiian Bakery (and restaurant). Love them! Great assortment. My favorites are the Chocolate "Dobash" cake, and the 3 layered "Paradise" cake. I've even driven almost an hour just to come back here for our birthday cakes since our family has moved.

OMG, the absolute best bakery in the Torrance area is called Torrance Bakery. I ordered my wedding cake from there and whenever someone in my family has a birthday we order cakes from there as well. My favorite is the white cake with buttercream icing and fresh strawberries with whip cream inside, you must try it. Their prices are also affordable. You can check out the website www.torrancebakery.com. Best wishes to you!

Awesome! It's the only place you need to know for bakeries in Torrance.
Torrance Bakery
Downtown Torrance

Torrance, CA 90501

Good for volume orders of cookies, cupcakes, and more traditional American items. They do great wedding cakes, also.
Practically all of the bakeries in Carson are Filipino.
There's a bakery called Valerio's(good authentic Filipino) and Red Ribbon(great cakes) in Carson. Carson and Main St.
Enjoy!

Hello A.,
There is a very delicious bakery right there in Torrance called Torrance Bakery, I have been going to them for years and wouldn't trade them for anything. Located in downtown Torrance. Look them up on the web. Oh by the way wonderful pastries also.

Kings Hawaiian in Torrance (larger bakery and restaurant) and Gardena (smaller location) . Our favorite is the paradise cake but they also have a large variety of cakes and pastries.
Also, someone else mentioned Torrance Bakery and they are also excellent.

I am not sure how far this would be from you but I absolutely love Katella Deli Bakery. It's off of the 605 and Katella, I believe the city is considered Los Alamitos. I know even for me it is a bit of a drive but it is sooo worth it. It is a restaurant (yummy food) and it has a bakery attached. I mean fresh baked breads and bagles, cakes (all sizes), eclairs, tarts, cream puffs, cookies, bundt cakes, sooo much good stuff.

Welcome to the area A.! Two of my favorite bakeries are Kings Hawaiian located in Gardena, and Mayer's Bakery located in Rolling Hills. (Mayer's did my wedding cake.) Also, a lot of the local markets have good bakeries too. Check out Bristol Farms and Whole Foods. Have a good time trying them out!

our wedding, baby shower and all of our son's birthday cakes have been made by Torrance Bakery (in old town torrance). They are wonderful! (this year I went in and tried their cupcakes, which were unfortunately dry- so I made my own)
Our fave there is white cake with whipped cream and fresh strawberries in the middle- with buttercream, but our wedding also had a german chocolate tier and a carrot cake with cream cheese filling tier. Check them out-
