Baby Swing - Kansas City,MO

i have an almost 3 month old who is long...25 inches a couple weeks ago and almost 13 pounds. I would like to get a swing for him...we have one that no longer works but he loves being in there when we manually push it. I would love to hear if anyone has suggestions for a swing that would be good for a longer/bigger baby. I don't want to buy a swing and have it only work for a short time because of his size. I would LOVE to have a place to put him down where he'll be happy!

What can I do next?

We love our Graco swing. It is much larger than most of the other ones and my 27 month old has been climbing into it lately and it she fits in it fine (not that I want her in it!).

Good morning! Just wanted to pass along that there is a HUGE gently used sale going on right now at Lakeland Community Church in Lee's Summit. I was there last night and they have a large number of swings and everything else that you could want and they were cheap compared to what you spend buying first hand! And there wasn't a thing wrong with it! Just wanted to pass along. Good luck and God Bless!

Check out the Just Between Friends consignment sale at the OP International Convention Center. They have a ton of swings for fairly cheap. You can bring your son and try them out.

My daughter loved her swing :) This is the one we had and she used it for quite a while! (Look and see if you can find it in a different color, ours was pastel green and much cheaper, other than those things, this is it!

Take him with you to the store and put him in them:) Our Babies R us and Burlington Coat Factory always has a large selection on the floor to look at!

My DD is 9 months old and almost 18 pound and still does great in her Fisher-Price Ocean Wonders Cradle Swing. Its a little pricey but works great. My daughter is also the third kid to use it so its totally paid for itself. I ditto going to the Just between friends sales if they are available.

Fisher-Price Power-Plus Plug-In Baby Swing. You don't have to use batteries, although it does come with that option. Just plug it in the wall.
