Where have you tried? How many people are you inviting? Do you need a place that serves food? What time of day? There are tons of places to suggest but not without more info.

HI- Philips Old Colony House in Dorchester is a nice place for a shower. It has various sized rooms depending on your group size. It is catered by the freeport tavern which is attached to it. Freeport tavern has a YUMNMY brunch on sundays--u should go and see if u like the food! good luck!

Have you thought about a childrens indoor play center? There's a place called Mama&Me in Jamaica Plain I think its really cute. Also i've considered having mine a a small cafe in the area. Hope that helps and congrats :-)

Hi! I had my bridal shower at the Fox & Hound in Quincy. It was adorable and reasonably priced. They have a big enough parking lot and a buffet-style brunch/lunch. Because of this, my friend also had her baby's Christening reception there. You should consider it: http://www.foxandhoundquincy.com/
