Baby Shower Venue Ideas on Northside
I am throwing a joint baby shower that will be a luncheon for 60-80 people. I am looking for a restaurant/banquet type place (and are open to ANY ideas) on the northside of the city that is fairly accessible to the highway and has parking.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!

For my daughter's baby shower of 65 I used pizza by alex on Montrose near Milwaukee in Chicago. They have gourmet pizzas and I had one of each cut into small diamond pieces. The salad is great. The staff is very attentive. They have a BYOB bar there so you can supply the alcohol if you wish. Everyone loved it!!

C., there is a nice resturant on the Northwest side called Colletti's. I have been to many showers there and it was very nice. I believe it is on Elston and Central. Give it a try.

Not sure if there is a name...since people seem to rent it out more for events such as yours, but on the corner of Lincoln and Wells, in Old Town (ON Wells) there is a fabulous spot for this type of thing. Swing by and check it out. m

This location is more West than North but it is easily acessible from expressways. I have thrown several parties at Pompei on Taylor St. Their party room will hold 80 and the food is excellent. They're online at pompeibakery.com
I also would recommend Marcello's on North Ave and they are also online. Both these places have very pretty rooms, reasonable menus and parking lots.
