Baby Shampoo
My Son is 21 months old and we have always used J&J all over wash for him. My husband has decided that baby shampoo rinses out better, I am not sure I agree, but he does most of the bathing. We would like to switch to a body wash that is also no-more-tears and preferrably one for dry skin (which he gets from his Mommy). Does anyone have any suggestions?

I highly recommend the Arbonne ABC Baby Wash because it is botanically based with no mineral oil or animal byproducts that may dry out his skin. My daughter is 12 and still likes to use it to eliminate eczema. I can send you a sample if you like.

I like Arbonne ABC products...all natural and super! Especially the sunscreen. This is the ONLY sunscreen that I find can be put on the face and won't burn their eyes EVER, even when their face gets wet and it runs into their eyes. I use a local consultant (Eastgate area) to place orders (Lesli Norris ____@____.com).
BUT I also like to be able to buy products at the grocery. My son had always had very dry skin (borderline eczema) and I find that the AVEENO BABY Wash & Shampoo (one product, two purposes!) works fantastic. About $4 a bottle. Pediatrician recommened, Natural Oat formula, Tear Free. I think you will like the Aveeno Products. We also use the body lotion (which seems to help me too with razor bumps when applied after shaving), and we use the Aveeno Oatmeal Bath powder packets occassionally. The Bath powder is great for really dry skin or any type of skin rash including poison ivy...very soothing. Take care!

Melaleuca is the Best! It could also help with your dry skin as well. I used to scrub pots with my elbows LOL then we found Melaleuca. Let me know if you want to know more.

I use the all over baby wash from target. The target brands are just the same os J&J but only a fraction of the cost. They also have some of the yummy scents like lavendar. For the dry skin just use lotion after every wash and in between when needed (again, I use target brand). You could use the baby oil gel (the gel is so much nicer than just the oil). For stubborn dry spot they make a hydrocortizone cream (over the counter) that my Ped said was safe for even my little premies. Also, keep bath time limited, especially during dry cold months as water dries the skin. A humidifier is good to use.
I don't think we should have to spend a ton to have healthy happy babies. So many products have jacked up prices when we can get the same results if we use the others properly.

I have used Shaklee's Small Wonders Baby Shampoo and Baby Oil (which is really a cream). ANd I also put a little Basic H2 in my 20 month olds bath water. It helps prevent diaper rash and children (and aadults) even with severe eczema have experienced great results. I would also suggest switching your laundry detergent to Shaklee's Get Clean laundry detergent. The great thing is that their cleaners are so economical. Omegaguard also helps with dry skin. I can give you more info if you like - ____@____.com luck!

I totally get what your talking about. I don't think anyone should use J&J as they have a chemical in their products that is linked to cancer and when they say No Tear just means they have an ingredient that numbs the tear duct and still burns! I learned that with my oldest who is now 6. She use to SCREAM!! during bath time and said it hurt her eyes. I was like but its no tear.. then a friend told me it just numbs the tear duct! I was so mad. My mom got me the Arbonne ABC baby line. No more screaming or crying! She would even check the bottle to make sure i was using the kind that didn't hurt. Now on my other two it has help as they have excema like their mom! LOL dry itchy skin. I use the Wash on them (its a shampoo and body wash). Then I use there lotion after and all the excema Gone! So happy. My son is 5 and still uses the baby products as does my 2 yr old. My 6 yr old now is a big girl (her thoughts)and uses Arbonnes Teen wash now! lol I don't mind still works and Arbonnes shampoo too. I have used arbonne for 18 yrs I took a small break but when everything happened with my oldest I went right back to using it. I have never had better skin either. I am Very dry thanks to excema. Arbonne's products are botanically based and vegan certified. Not to mention all pure, safe and beneficial. I love that... lol I can get a sample for you to try too. I will send you my info in a minute.
Good luck!!

I used a body wash and hair wash by Melaleuca, called Koala Pals. My kids still use it even though they're teenagers.
