I am 10 weeks pregnant, and I am wondering when is a good time to start registering for items for our baby showers? I am anxious to do it before I am big and miserable!

What can I do next?

Ahh, you need to wait. It is a nice boost at the end of the pregnancy to get excited about the baby coming soon!

Wait it out a little while longer. You have a long way to go yet! I think we registered at the end of May or beginning of June, and our son was born in August.

Wait until 28-30 weeks.

But in the meantime, assume you are going to be happy and glowing instead of big and miserable.

You have a LONG way to go girlie, so don't do it yet!!! Wait and see what you get from people along the way. I didn't even show with my second until my 6th month, it was my 5th month with my daughter. You usually don't have your shower until somewhere after your 30th week. Trust me, you aren't going to be all miserable!!! I bartended back in the day when I was pregnant with my first and I worked until 4 days before I delivered her! I was totally fine! I didn't register for my shower until right before the invitations went out.

It's never too early to do some window shopping and research on products you may want, but it's still way to early to start doing any registering. Wait until your at least 20 weeks.

I would start it and gradually research what you want in there. You have a lot of time. But It's nice to have it all done before it is painful to stand for long periods. It's great to do it online and read the reviews, but there are a LOT of things you should look at in person.

I think you could do it any time - you can always add to it or change things. Plan for a couple hours when you do, 'cause it takes a long time to look at all the different things and decide which ones you want.

Also, be sure to register at one "convenient" place like Target or Walmart. People really like to pick up a baby gift along with their other shopping. We had a huge registry at Babies 'r' Us and Amazon and got nothing from either of those (just the Target one).
