Baby Noy Names Starting with Letter "A"

Please help me!! I am 26wks preg and having a hard time with a boy name. Our daughter's name begins with the letter A and I would like ideas for cute boy names starting with the letter A as well!! Any ideas are appreciated. So far my husband and I have only agreed on Alexander (Alex) and Aaron. Thanks!

What can I do next?

So What Happened?™

Thank you all very much! We ended up naming our sweet baby boy Alexander Liam and call him Alex for short! Thanks again!!

Those are both great names! Please skip Aiden (or any other spelling of that name). There are so many of them and it became popular from Sex and The City so that is pretty lame.

Hi! I used to live in Tyler and still visit often! My oldest son's name is Aaron. It is common enough to not stand out , but not overused. I would steer clear fom some of the names suggested that have a feminine ring to them. As a mom of 2 boys, I know they will not like their name as they get older if it"sounds like a girl name." Congratulations and good luck!

I had a friend in high school named Arick I think it may have been spelled Aaryck, I thought that was a pretty cool way of spelling the name.

Personally, I'd skip Aiden unless you're okay with your son going through life as one of fifty million Aidens, not to mention it'll rhyme with Jayden, Brayden, Caidyn, etc. which are all popular and plentiful...and when the name is called out, over half his class will turn their heads and say "what"?

I read an article that said to think about your child interviewing for a job, and don't give a name that is common. It's better to have a name that stands out on a resume.
Addison
Abbott
Adrian
I'm stumped but there's a few.

When you name your child think about the fact that they aren't going to be a cute little baby forever. This baby is going to be a grown boy then a man.
Go with something solid like Adam, Andrew, or Anthony. You don't want him to sound too girly and you don't want him getting beaten up on the playground. Just a thought. :)

I love Alexander, Avery and Asher. If we had a boy it would have been Alexander. My husband thought Avery and Asher were a little bit wussy. Unless you love Aiden, don't do it. 'Tis very popular and will probably wind up sounding dated. Other ideas: Alec, Aubrey, Austen, August... I can't think of many others that start with A. Congratulations and good luck :)

Ashton, Ayden, Austin, Andy, Allen, and Adam

I love the name Andrew. I wanted to name my oldest son Andrew Scott, but our last name begins with S...so his initials would have spelled A.S.S. We went with Jeffery Scott, naming him after a long time friend of my husband's, who's name is Jeff and he's part Scottish.

Hello. I happen to have a love of older names & very nontraditional names. On my husbands side: One of his Grandfathers was named: Alder (All-der) Adler Raymond (Not really sure why they just switched up the first few letters of his first two names, but the man was French Canadian)

On my side: I have a Great Uncle Alton ( I love this name!)

And then there is Aric (Sounds just like "Eric") I love this one too!!!
