I love Katheryn Elizabeth but also very much like Katheryn Grace. One thing you want to look out for is any nicknames other children could make out of names and or initials. www.babynamegenie.com is a pretty neat way to put in a name you like and then get it to generate middle name ideas.

I am on this Estelle kick right now, I heard it the other day and I just like it. my daughter is Gwenyth Annette. Boys I like Sawyer, Peyton (my sons name) Travis, Drew, Zander

It partly depends on what your last name is. A name might go great with Katheryn, but not sound so hot when you put it all together.

That said, I do like Katheryn Rayelle :)

One of our daughters is named Sarah Kathryn. I like the Sarah with an H. I also have Amanda Rene' and Rebekah Christine (but no more Kathryn's).

For boys I have 2 sons: Michael Addison and Joshua Allen. On reflection I would've switched Addison's name to Addison Michael because we call him Addison, not Michael (and never Mike).

Sarah is now married with a son named Eli James.

It use to be custom NOT to name a baby for a good month after birth to see if the name chosen 'fit' the baby's personality. But I also know that I loved talking to my belly by using their names, LOL.

Katheryn Elizabeth was one of my top two. We ended up with a Jessica Paige.

Well I just had to respond because Katheryn is my middle name!!!! And I've never met/heard of anyone with that exact spelling before! It's always Katherine or Kathryn ( or begins with a C)!!!! Yay!!!!!

So...I'm partial to using it as a middle name and using L. as the first name:)

Our daughter's name is Yvonne Lorene. Our son's name is John Damien, pronounced 'dah-mee-ehn' in French. My husband's family is from Louisiana, that's where we get the Yvonne & Damien. Lorene and John are from my family.

What about Katheryn Yvonne or Katheryn Lorene? My niece is named Faith Marie... Katheryn Faith or Katheryn Marie? My family's names don't seem to roll off the tongue well as first names with Katheryn as a middle name. To be honest, once we decided on Yvonne and Lorene I couldn't decide which one to use first. First I wrote the names in different orders, then I waited until I was alone one day and started yelling the names repeatedly one way and then the other as if I was calling down the street or yelling as if my child was running towards the street. Lorene Yvonne and Yvonne Lorene. When I accidentally yelled out Loronne Yvene when I got tongue-tied, I chose Yvonne Lorene! I have never mispronounced Yvonne Lorene, so far :) Actually, now Loronne Yvene sounds pretty. It would be different. Katheryn Yvene or Katheryn Irene are both pretty, too.

For boys: not much help here. We do have Xavier, Edmund, Jeromey and Cody. My nephew is Joseph Eli. Oh, I have an Uncle Orville, but he goes by Junior. My son has a classmate named Roman and one named Rafael (Rafe for short). Hmmm. Brainstormong now: Jordan, Trevon (tray-vohn), Trey, Javier, Devin, Pierce, Forrest, Cranston, Quentin... Some of my kids' classmates :)

im not giving you names but an idea i came up with names that they cant get picked on over see my name is O. dawn i was called dish detergent o fill me o tater etc so it was damaging when i was a very young chil so think of things they cant be picked on over my boys are cody levi and allen lee which my hubby wanted to name allen wrench lol gl

If the baby is a boy....name him Keegan.

They may be to traditional for you though, just thought I'd throw them out there since both sound pretty with the name you've already chosen.

I guess you should decide if you mind her being called Kathy, Katie or Kate... Because if Katheryn is chosen as her first name, she probably will get a shortened nickname. If that doesn't suit you , then use it as a middle name.

Another vote for Katheryn Elizabeth or Elizabeth Katheryn (Kate, Katie, Kat, Liza, Beth nicknames).

For a boy, how about Finnegan? Finn for short. I also like Dylan. Also, my son has a Rudy on his baseball team and I think that is cute too!

I think Kathryn Rose has a good ring to it.

When I was pregnant my husband and I went online to baby name sites and wrote down any name that we even remotely liked on our "list" we ended up with tons of names. At that point neither of us said if we didn't like the name our spouse picked or anything like that. We both got to put as many names as we wanted. Then over the days we started to eliminate names based on personal reasons. (we already knew what my sons middle name would be as my father is deceased). So we also thought about the cadence of the name and did they match with our last name etc. Also think about do the intials spell anything odd. As you cross names off the list you should eventually be left with a few choices. We had two and didn't actually decide until my son was born and we saw his face. At this point we don't know who actually picked the name that my son has but we both love it b/c we both had a say in the picking. Hope that made sense. Good luck. ps the baby name sites tell the meaning and origin of the names and that really helped us decide also.

I started to say to find names that are meaningful to you. Our son is a James named after is dad but with a different middle name.
Our daughter was going to be a Jessica but we literally changed our mind at the last minute. Come to fine out the name we chose at the last minute was a family name but we didn't know it.
