Baby Names - Salt Lake City,UT

I know that picking a baby name is personal preference but thought I would get some opinions anyways.... Our due date is coming up in 3 weeks and we can not decide on a name!! We will be having a boy. We have come up with three names and I would love to get feedback on them as well as other suggestions! The three names are: Jameson Grant, Easton James or Smith (either middle name). Thanks!

What can I do next?

So What Happened?™

Thank you for everyone who responded to my request about boy names. We found it pretty funny that the responses were split right in half between the two names we were debating! Our beautiful baby boy was born on Sept 12 (a week late!!) He was 7 lbs 10 oz and 20 1/2 inches. We decided to name him Jameson Grant. So far everything is going well and our daughter is such a great little helper.
Thanks again for everyone's advice!

They all sound good, why don't you wait until he is born and see which name suits him? We had 2 names for my daughter, Olivia and Mackenzie, she was definitly an Olivia. Hope this helps, M.

I like the name Easton James i think it is so cute goood luck deciding it is hard to make the final decision.

HI J.,

My husband and I always have at least two names that we like picked out. Then we wait for the baby to be born and see which one fits because each baby has their own personality.

Easton and Jameson are both very cool names. My opinion on the middle name is that most people will never hear or know it so it won't matter...unless it has a special meaning to you and your husband (a relative also has the name or something like that), that's how we chose our childrens middle names.

Just let picking a name be a fun thing for the two of you to do. Remember lots of people will have opinions, but go with what you feel the best about between you and your husband. (We actually don't really say what the name will be until after baby is born...we just keep saying, "we are still thinking about it!"

I think Jameson Grant is a good one....

Well, a big part of it is your last name (and I understand not posting it here) so say the entire name and then just the first and last since that's what most people will call him anyway. So if your last name ends with an "on" you wouldn't want Jameson or Easton because of the two 'on's at the end. If it doesn't, you're good to go. And I'm not particularily fond on two single syllable names together such as Smith Grant or Smith James (I assume that was what you were going for with Smith).

I think both Jameson Grant and Easton James are great names and not too common, but if I had to pick, I like Easton best. And I think when your baby is born, you'll know which name is right for him.

Congrats on #2! It is so much easier the second time around (both labor, delivery and after!). Best wishes to you and your family.

Jamie,

Jameson Grant is a beautiful name, Wyatt Jameson or James, James Elliot, Elliot Jameson, Karl Jameson, well that is all I can think of this early.

Good luck with your little family and God Bless.

I vote for Easton James. I really like the name Easton!

Easton James would be my pick, they are all cute though!

I am the mother of 5 and I found that seeing "who" the baby looked like was helpful. All of your names are great and maybe he just looks like a Jameson or an Easton. Daddy doesn't want a Jr.?
