If you like A names I like Augustus, and Alexander, Andrew - can be called by nicknames that don't start with A

I do think naming all the children with the same letter to be rather "precious". I know several people who came from families where children were named like that that uniformly disliked it (from annoyed to absolutely hated it). It makes labeling things with initials useless and diminishes the individuality of the children.

Didn't read the other posts, but one of my favorites is Atticus. It's an old name and a bit unusual, but I like that.

I have an Anderson and I LOVE his name. We get compliments all the time - people love that he is an "Andy" but not an "Andrew" - not sure why - maybe a little different I guess. It was my mom's maiden name. I also like Adam, August and Alexander.

Just wanted to compliment you on your girl name. I used to babysit an Allison Marie, and she was a precious child.

I didn't read many of your responses so I am sorry if these are a repeat. My my children are Anthony, Amina (Arabic for faithful) and George Asa (It is my grandmother's maiden name and one of the kings from the Old Testament). I also love the name Asher but my husband didn't. I also like Amira (Arabic for princess).

We love names that start with "A", too.

Allyson is such a pretty name! I think if I was choosing an A name for a boy, I'd go with Alexander or Aaron. Good luck in choosing!

Boy names are a very touchy subject in my family right now. My daughter is due any minute and she is having such a hard time with a boy name.

I personally really love the name Avery.

Best wishes.

I am partial to Alexander as it is my son's middle name. I have always loved Adam and Aaron too. The only A names I can come up with that have not already been mentioned are Antonio and Anderson.
Good Luck

Every name the other mothers have mentioned is extremely popular and has been for 20 years. I believe in giving children recognizable names that are not common.
