Baby Names - Rochester,NY
I am at a loss for a name for our 4th child. I started a "J" trend and reall want to continue it. My oldest is Jeremy, 2nd son is Jayden, daughter Julianna, and lost for our 2nd daughter. I really could use some ideas on names for a girl that don't sound too similar to my other children's. They usually get called Jer, Jay, and Juli for short. Any ideas would be appreciated. Right now the only ones that I have are Jennica, Jianna (sounds too much like Julianna I think), Jennalyn, and Jaclyn. Thanks! Oh and as a side note, i love names that have nick names.
So What Happened?™
First off Thank You Sooooo Much for all of your responses. A lot of those names are adorable and there were some that I def never thought of before. I do believe that after reasurance from most of you and others that we are going to name our daughter Jennalyn. I got a overwelming response as to how much people loved that name. Thanks again!!!

Jordan, Joelle (Jo), Jessica (Jess), Joselyn (Jos),
Jeremy, Jayden, Julianna, Jessica = Jer, Jay, Juli, Jess. That sounds nice.
I think I like that one best! Good luck! Let us know what you pick!

I love Jennalyn, what a pretty name. If you need some J names just look up the Duggar family online. They have 19 children and all of them start with a J. I am sure you can get some ideas there. = )
Good luck with #4!

I was thinking of that movie "Poetic Justice" and the character's name is "Justice" --- and the actress who played her was Janet Jackson. Don't know about nicknames for those, though.
I have a friend who's daughter is Genevieve; you could always spell that with a J, and nickname could be Jen. My friend calls her daughter Nevie -- which goes away from the J theme but sometimes it's nice to have something different.
Sounds like you have a lot of great choices now!
Good luck!

"j" is a common name in my mother's family as well. My siblings and I are Julie, Jackie, Jody, J.. My cousin's names are Jim, Jay, Jean, Joan. The girls in that family named their children, Jeff, Jay, Jennifer (Jen), Jessica (Jessie) and Julia. Oh yes, my mother's name was Josephine (nick names were Josie when young and JoJo in her senior years) and to make it more fun our last name started with a "J" as well.

Jamie is a nice name too, but doesn't really leave room for a nickname.

I'm so sorry for the loss of your daughter, I know how hard it is. How about Jessica, I love the name Jessy or Jess. When my son was little we used to read the book "Jessy Bear What Will You Wear?", lol I still have it and will pass it down to my grandchildren. Other names, how about Joanne, Jodie, Janice, Jenna, Jordan, or Jennifer. My girlfriend's name is Jodie and we call her JoJo or Jo. I love J. too, you can always use Janelle as a variation. AW heck go with Jessica, you like nick names, I LOVE Jessy.
