Baby Items

I have a 20 yr old and a 21 month old. So needless to say I had to go out and purchase everything new, and with all the new baby things out there that they didn't have 18 yrs before I went a wee bit crazy. Now I have loads and loads of Infant and toddler Items that my Son has outgrown. Clothes that hes never worn. My spare room is overloaded. Any suggestions? Does anyone know of a good consignment shop? How do you know if they are fair?

What can I do next?

You didn't say where you are located, but in Roswell, there's a new place called "Once Upon a Child" that buys & sells children's clothes & toys.

I would look into doing one of the big consignment sales. It may be a little too late to join in the one for Fall, but you could do the one for Spring. You decide your pricing in these.

there are probably more... Last year, I had one site that told of every sale in the state. You can probably find it if you look around on google.

My suggestion is what I do. Donate. Give them away to friends and strangers. Whatever charity you like that takes such things. It feels good. The amount of money you could make is so small anyway. And it's not worth all the time it takes to sell things. Money is tight for me. But, I'd rather spend the time with my kids.
Good luck "slimming down" your house.

Another suggestion is to donate to crisis pregnancy centers. You didn;t mention waht part of Georgia you live in. If you post your request again and let readers know, I am sure you will get some specific consignment recommendations. My favorite is Revive. It is in Woodstock on Hwy 92 right next door to Goodwill. They have over 4000 consignors. It si run by a local church who uses the proceeds (50% of sale) to minister to the community with free programs. That means it is a win win situation, You make some money, the oublic gets hrea deals and those in need got help.

Also check out a place in Towne Lake called Turn Around Kids ( or somehting like that!)
