Dont worry, it will come. My first daughter is just like me and didnt have hair for a trim until 2.5 yrs. Then had long beautiful hair

Some babies are born with hair, some dont get it till 2..hahaha.. it is as random as thier personalities. When I was little my mom TAPED a bow on my head for my one yr pictures so people would know I was a girl because I was still bald... thankfully I have a head full of hair now.. I wouldnt worry about it!! Good luck and God Bless!!!

Don't worry - my daughter was basically bald until she was almost 2 years old - his hair will grow in - my daughter has beautiful, thick hair now.

N. I can relate - I didn't have hair until I was almost a year - then it came in so light you still really thought I was bald. I have tons of hair now! Good things come!!

My baby's head was downy and didn't really grow hair til she was nearly a year. Don't worry.

My cousin didn't grow hair until she was about three, her son seems to be on the same path. My step-daughter is seven and barely had hair up until about a year ago, it's still VERY fine and breaks easily.

It wasn't until my daughter turned 2 that she enough hair to make little pig tails. My friend's son is 2.5 and has yet to have a hair cut becuase it has hardly grown since birth. It's completely normal - don't worry.

Just means she's going to have a ton of hair as she grows.

My first didn't have hair until he was 1, my 2nd was born with a lot of hair but it fell out and my 3rd was born with a full head of hair that stayed that way.

Each kid is different. Enjoy now having to comb it!

No worries! My oldest daughter, who is now 16yo, was almost completely bald until she was about a year and a half. It will come in. I was told to rub her head to promote growth, but now looking back it could have been the shampoos and sure that I was using. Especially knowing now what I didn't know then. Of course now I do not use any of the over the counter stuff because of the chemicals and health issues most everything causes. I found a great health and wellness company that uses the BEST of science and nature so that we can live healthier and honestly isn't that what everyone wants? Don't worry, he is going to be fine. I'm a mom of three. My son had a lot of hair as a newborn, up to about three months, then he lost most of it, eventually it grew back. My daughter's infant, is the same now, he's 8 months, I reassure her also. As long as he doesn't have any scalp issues, like eczema or other skin condition, if so, take your child to the pediatrician, otherwise, it will grow!

Could be months and months mama! Nothing that I know of to get it to grow, but with the cold weather coming, you can do lots of cute hats!
My assumption - this your first baby. Don't sweat it - totally normal!

I wouldn't worry about it. I had cousins that didn't have any hair until they were 2 or 3 years old. Unless your doctor is worried about it, I wouldn't worry. Just enjoy that baby and his bald head :)

Don't stress. I hardly had any hair until I was 2 and then I had a lot and it's very thick. It will grow!

My mom loves to remind me that I had almost no hair until I was 3. Then it grew in and I've had beautiful long hair ever since.
My son is 26 months old and is JUST starting to get his hair finally. He's looked like a 5-6 month old his entire life based on the amount of hair he had (at least in pictures that were close up, profile shots.) The first year of his life he looked mostly bald because the hair was so light colored, fine and only about half an inch long.
He is starting to get longer, whispy hair. I'm hoping it thickens up, but for now, I'm just glad he finally has some hair. :)
Sounds like your baby is completely normal.
Be prepared also that what little hair he does have might fall out at some point. My guy lost a bunch of his tiny hair around 9 months old and then it regrew again.
