What about matching Chandler with any of your aunt's names? Incorporate your middle name or Mom's middle name with Chandler? That would be neat ot incorporate a family name.

Chandler is gorgeous, but when you go with something gender neutral, its good to add a girlie middle name. Go back through your family tree. mom, mil, grammas, aunties and find a very feminine name, hopefully from a woman you respect and want to honor. Add that to Chandler. Chandler Elaine, Chandler Elizabeth, Chandler Marie. You can call her Chandy for short. I

My opinion, Chandler is masculine. As an alternative, perhaps you like Sheridan instead? That strikes me as similar to Chandler but more feminine (and without the tv show association).

My daughter is Lilia (Lily-a instead of Lillian or Lilliana or just plain Lily), Annelise (pronounced like On-e-lise...a is aw sound not like apple, soft e like eh). Lilia is more common in England and Annelise is more common in Germany...I like them both because they are uncommon here in the States and have beautiful meanings...Congratulations and good luck!

And its fine... but I don't care for Chandler.

I also think Chandler is a cute name and agree with Rose or Lynn/e maybe even Paige for a middle)? Would definitely go with a traditional feminine name for the middle since Chandler is more neutral. Congrats!!!

I love Chandler for a girl!! I also like avery, Amelia, caroline, clara, Eliza, Evangeline, Evelyn, Francesca, Gianna, giuliana, Hadley, Jillian, McKinley, Madeline, Meredith, Natalie/Natalia, Olivia, Samantha, Sofie, Vanessa.

A name like Chandler should have an ultrafeminine middle name to balance it. And of course all first names matter most as to what they sound like with your last name! ie Chandler Parker/Harper/anything-er or that has "and" in it don't sound as good as Chandler smith (different end sounds). I hope you use it as her middle name if not her first, it's cute!

EDIT: I didn't mean to use Parker as my example for a last name, I wrote my reply in a hurry on the way to work, sorry! With Pate, I like Chandler still, and edited my list for those that may not sound as good with your last name. Congrats! =)

We have a girl at church whose name is Chandler. I have always like Tysie (Ty-SEA) but my honey would never go for it. He was all about traditional names. :-(

Wow! I am pregnant with a girl and her name is going to be Chandler Ellen! Or maybe Ellen Chandler, we haven't decided. Ellen is my hubs' grandmother's name. Sorry I'm not much help but I'm really excited to see another Chandler! Oh and btw, if this kiddo was a boy we were thinking Cohen as well! Weird!!!
